Wuruwuru is a word of the Dani tribe from the Central Highlands of Irian Jaya. It means bird of flight and refers to all objects that fly through the air. I know this because I spent my childhood in the highlands of Irian Jaya and a Dani kid taught it to me once when we were pretending to fly down the hill side together. Wuruwuru is my business and band name as well as being the name of one of my compositions. You might think thats overkill but if thats good enough for Wayne Shorter (Miyako Music), its good enough for me.
