Justin Madden 'kicking good points' says Bracks

With merely $2 million to spend on their pre-election campaign, Labor have had to do a bit of home study in Marketing.

"There's this theory called Marginal Preference," opposition leader Steve Bracks told www.RealJeff.com. "And it really is quite ingenious."

"Say you have two cans of soup quite identical - except that one says 'EXTRA PEAS!'. Really they are just the same old bullshit can of soup. One's just got a few more mushy peas. It could even say 'ONE EXTRA PEA.' It doesn't matter, which is the beauty of this theory.

"Now you put those two cans next to each other on the shelf and bingo! No matter how small the difference, you sell twice, three times as many of cans of can B, the one with the extra pea. A slight improvement gives you fantastic returns."

"So what exactly seperates you philosophically from the Coalition?" our reporter asked Bracks.

"We've got Justin Madden! I'm predicting a landslide victory. With Madden at the crease, Labour will be kicking goals. Now... perhaps you could you just quote me with whatever Jeff said today?" requested Steve.

"Well he called you a bookworm and a bore," said our reporter.

"Oh," said Steve, "that really hurts. Well you call him a bookworm and a bore. And um... we've got Justin Madden."
