Degree course in Bachalor of Electrical & Computer Systems Engineering Specialising in Telecommunications at Monash University, Clayton, Australia.

Occupation:

A Researcher at the Centre for Telecommunication and Information Technology in department of Electrical & Computer Systems Engineering of Monash University. I am currently involved in a number of projects in the two groups of CTIE (Centre for telecommunication and Information Engineering):

  • ANSPAG (Advanced Network Performance and Applications group)
  • Video Coding Unit

    • Internet: Hardware installation, Software installation, fault finding and repairing.

    Computer Litracy

    I am highly interested in networking especially in Local Area Networks (LAN) and Internet Services. This is reflected by the system at home. I am able to assemble, upgrade, install computer hardware and software. Conversant with IBM compatible PCs and the following application software, to name just a few:
    • Autocad ver 10
    • MicroSoft Office 6 & 97 - in particular Word and Excel
    • Turbo Pascal ver 7 - programming in the DOS environment
    • Turbo assembler - prgraming and debugging in assembly language
    • C prgramming in the DOS and UNIX environment
    Well experienced in maintainance/use of networking environments such as Lantastic V7 , Novell Netware ver 3.11/lite ver 1.1 and microsoft network.

    I am Extremely fluent in the following operating systems:
    • Windows NT and OS/2 Warp
    • Windows 95 and Windows 3.xx
    • Linux, Unix and Vax/Vms
    Very familiar with the Internet software applications.
