July 28th - Welcome back game! (Infernal torment!
Free pizza and drinks for all! Also a chance for any mid-year sign ups. On July 28th at 6:30 we will be in the Law Building Foyer, eating, drinking and making merry while playing Prime Time Adventures!
A few requests: Anyone who would like to GM another game is welcome to, just give the committee a buzz so we can have a room for you. Make sure your players tell us which game they're in on the night as well :).

August 4th - New games night!
August 4th is when most of the new games start up for this semester. GMs are welcome to advertise their games early as well as call dibbs on certain rooms. If you find that you don't have a game to play in, the committee will try to find you a game asap.

August 12th-14 - CAMP!
From August 12th to August 14th we will be at camp! It'll be at the CEBS Camp Bindaree, same as last semester, and will go from Friday evening to Sunday morning/afternoon. We provide meals from Saturday breakfast to Sunday breakfast (with a bit of lunch for those who stay later for clean up). More details and sign up

September 29th - Annual Dinner!
This isn't for a while yet (September 29th, the Thursday of mid-semester break) but we'd like your thoughts on a change of venue. Nacho's Cantina is a great little place, but we'd like to give another restaurant a shot this year. So if you have any recommendations for venues which would seat at least 30 people, give us a buzz and we'll check it out :)

October - UNICON!
The exact weekend is yet to be confirmed, but early in October, UniCon will be running over the Saturday and Sunday. If you're curious about running or playing at a convention, UniCon is a great con to start off at with a small intimate beginning. http://www.unicon.asn.au/

January 26th - Arcanacon XXX!
Yes, January is a long way away, but Arcanacon is currently looking for event organisers for the Australia Day long weekend. Got a con game idea that you think might work? Take a look at the Arcanacon website for all the details on getting involved in Melbourne's longest running roleplaying convention.

Mailing list? What mailing list? If you've signed up to MURP for 2011, but don't seem to be on the mailing list, then please let the committee know as soon as possible so this can be rectified. You might also want to take a quick look in your spam folders just to be sure - any email from the club comes with a subject line that starts with [murp-l]
