Well, we're back safe and sound from Black Stump. Thanks heaps to everyone that came and saw us play, entered our competition, unwittingly joined our mailing list, and bought the CD. We had heaps of fun, and got to see a lot of very ace bands. Aquiesce were one of the highlights for me (very ace, in the vein of Eat The Menu/The Mercy Bell), as were the Paul Colman Trio, and Elementary Penguin.

Of course, that was a while ago now, but because of the very busy nature of the lives of musicians (especially those who know how to update this web page) it is still here. Perhaps it can stay a bit longer, as we wouldn't want anyone to worry about us not getting back from black stump OK.

There are at least THREE exciting things coming up in the near future. They are:

1. We are starting work on our new EP very soon, which is very exciting. If anyone wants to send us money at random, feel free.

Actually, it is now finished and waiting to be pressed, but that is a minor detial...

2. We are in the very preliminary stages of organizing a gig with Carolyn Oates and Claire Hazzard. Claire is a singer of Queensland origins who is very cool, and Carolyn is a legend from Melbourne, for the uneducated among you. Pencil December 3rd into your diaries, but keep your eyes here for future updates.

OK. so that has been and gone. Sorry if you missed it.

3. And finally, we are planning a TOUR of the east coast of Australia. At the moment our intinery includes Echuca, Sydney, Newcastle, Coffs Harbour, Tamworth and Brisbane. If you live in any of these places, then come and see us play. We have some dates free too, so if you want to book one of the world's most entertaining bands in Jan/Feb 2000, email us really soon.

Well, you still have a chance with this last one...Details WILL be coming...

Okay, so it was really really modified on Monday the 7th October, 1999 at about 11:13am. That other bit is a really cool JavaScript thing that was supposed to be really clever, but in reality it just says stupid stuff about the 70's. I know a lot of people say stupid stuff about the 70's, but this is just plain silly.
