ALL ABOUT CUTIEPIE!!

More than u might wanna know!!

One fine Sunday morning, at about 10:01, a beautiful baby girl found her way into this world. The day was 23rd May, and the year was 1976. What a long time it has been since that fateful day some 20 odd years ago. The young parents named their daughter Aun Na ( pronounced somewhat like “honour” ), and later produced 2 little munchkins for their daughter to command around and torture.

Many years passed with bliss for the little girl. She had her domain at home and the sometimes reluctant munchkins to her bidding. However, the time soon came for her to venture into the big world outside her home. Yes, it was time for her to enter the long and tedious road of EDUCATION! Gone were the smaller munchkins to torture. Instead, she found herself in the midst of other children her size! Soon enough however, the little girl learned something valuable that would ultimately become a hobby, an obsession. She learned of a thing called STORIES. Although she could not herself read yet, everyday at the school, an hour was devoted to story-telling and the little girl came to enjoy these hours.

Many more years passed, and throughout all the “not-so-little” girl's educational life, she not only added stories as her passion but literature of all sorts. She also added a love for music, both classical and pop. She was also crazy about games, CHESS in particular, and computer games. But most of all, she always dreamt. Dreams of the future, dreams that unfolded like a story, dreams of romance. Her curious mind would look around and grab something to dream even when there was nothing much really to dream about. As her mother frequently said, “Get your head out of the clouds, Aun Na !!”.

14 years down the educational road has found Aun Na at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. It is a far cry from the place she used to call home, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Those who do not know Aun Na might imagine from the text above that she is studying to be a writer, or something along those lines. But no, Aun Na has decided to take a different route. She has decided that her path in life is to be involved in drugs! Yes. DRUGS! But wait!!! Not THOSE drugs, the medicinal type! She is now studying Chemistry, with the hopes of ending up in a pharmaceutical research area.

With all the required work in an Uni Student's life, Aun Na has almost abandoned her literature. ALMOST, but not quite. She still finds some time to read books, and even less time to write poems and stories. Maybe when she retires......
