According to Professor Greenfield, brains grow and perform better if people exercise them like they do with muscles.

"We all know what it feels like to fall on the couch in a heap", she said. "Well, your brain falls on a couch as well if you don't exercise it"

"Memory is not lost. Your brain just remembers what is important to you at the time - what's not important is pushed into the background"
