| Bowing
- Upon initial entrance to Dojang(Training area). - Upon leaving the Dojang after final dismissal. - To Master/Instructors upon your arrival or his/her arrival. - To Master/Instructors to ask for permission to join the class if you are late. - To Master/Instructors before leaving for a drink break. Instructors
Instructors are to be addressed as:
- Sir/Madam - Chok-Yo-Nim (Assistant Instructor - 1st Dan) - Keo-Sa-Nim (Assistant Instructor - 2nd Dan) - Keo-Bom-Nim (Assistant Instructor - 3rd Dan) - Sa-bom-Nim (Senior Instructor - 4th Dan) - Kwan-Jang Nim (Head Instructor - above 5th Dan) Uniforms
- Full DoBok is to be worn - DoBok pants with Monash Tkd Polo/ K-Tigers shirt is acceptable when full DoBok is unavailable (in the wash etc.). - Changing rooms are to be used both at the beginning and end of class: NEVER CHANGE IN THE DOJANG. - Belts are to be tied correctly (Ask someone for help if you don't know how). - When fixing uniform, NEVER face Master. Formation(Lining up)
- Line up according to belt colour starting with the highest Black belt in the front rank on the right side. - Run, NEVER walk to line up. - When putting on Hogu (Body armour) line up in ONE single file. Instructions
- Listen carefully.
- Run, NEVER walk when an instruction is given. - If unclear put your hand up and ask for demonstration. - Never speak or look away when Master is explaining instructions. - Accept all punishments given by Master. Do not complain if you have done something wrong and are being punished for it. |
