Mission

Missions

There are 3 main aims that OCF want to achieve. These aims should be evident in the life of each member, not just in the presence of certain group activities or programmes.

The 3 aims are : 1)Evengelism, 2)Teaching and Training, 3)Mission.

   Evangelism

To encourage a desire to reach out, to share the gospel with the lost and have a heart for mission e.g. through personal evangelism - life-style, family, flatmates or coursemates.

   Teaching and Training

To instil a longing for God's Word and its application in his/her life, and a desire to grow in spiritual maturity.
To instil a desire to serve God through training and serving opportunities in OCF, especially in developing characters of spiritual leadership.
To instil a desire to impart his/her Christian experience to another so that others will be built up to spiritual maturity.

   Mission

To instil a sense of mission as each returns to his/her home country by providing teaching on practical issues, information, contact with reception centres and continuing support.
