There are many new students coming into the group in 96/97. Among those who
came in the beginning of this year, many were the Lord's provision of workers
for his harvest field in Caulfield. They are now leaders in OCF, succeeding
the faithful servants who have finished or are finishing their courses at the
end of the year and are therefore going home.
In this period, we have made many contacts through our orientation dinners, trips, evangelistic nights and July camp, approximately 100 of our unbelieving friends have heard the gospel. About 5 have asked Jesus to be their Saviour and Lord.

| Teaching and Training |
|
Our members are growing spiritually through the Bible studies and fellowship.
Activities like prayer, fasting and outreach activities are encouraged through
the cell group ministry as a strategy to reaching out in this year. We are
praying for the Lord's guidance and wisdom as to how it might be done.
In the past year, several training workshops have been organised: evangelism, cell group dynamics, praise and worship, and counselling. These seminars served mainly to equip the new leaders for the coming year.

| Missions |
|
We have had the Opportunity to meet up with two missionaries last year. Lord
has used these meetings to remind us that He is a missionary God. As our members
are returning to their home country, we are sending back men and women of God
who, we pray, will continue to be faithful to Him who has called them to Himself
and make an impact for our Lord Jesus Christ.
