MEG has a mailing list. By subscribing to the mailing list you'll receive the 'Meg Minutes' via email, which are basically the notes taken in MEG meetings (for all those people who can't get to meetings, and our own records). The mailing list is also for everyone to use - for example, if you have some news of an action and want all the MEG'ers to know, you'd send an email to the mailing list, and it'll then mail it out to everyone subscribed. The mailing list is more so for minutes, news, actions, reminders, report backs etc in which you'd like everyone to receive. The Message board on this site allows a more lengthy elaboration of anything from current enviro issues, to how good the soups in wholefoods are, to the things we couldnt get around too in MEG meetings. The Message board promotes indepth discussions and healthy debate (hopefully!) - and it's ideal for people who can't make the meetings on Thursdays to really get involved.
