Paganism

Paganism is an umbrella term used to describe a large number of religions or belief systems that are not Christian, Jewish or Muslim. These spiritualities include Shamanism, Wicca or Witchcraft, Druidism, Norse and Celtic Paganism, Goddess Spiritualism, just to name a few. All aspects of the natural world are important to these earth based faiths. Many ancient cultures, such as the Greeks, Romans and Egyptians – to name the most commonly referenced few – are known to have worshipped pagan gods and attribute spirit to everything. For these ancient people gods were a part of their everyday life, controlling ever aspect of their existence.

Neopagan religions are those that have been contemporised from beliefs, practices and other aspects of old pagan traditions.
