To get the great jump offers and join in the events, you must be a member of the club. Joining the club is easy. Complete an application form, attach $15 and either bring it to one of our regular meetings or put it in an envelope and place it in our letterbox at Sport and Rec. Forms are available on the notice board in the union building and can be down loaded here. (Checks payable to Monash Skydiving Club) Once you have joined you will be able to sign up for a jump course.

Monash University Skydiving Club Operations.


Introduction.
The goal of MUSC is to provide a facility for students to develop skydiving skills with a goal of representing the university at national championship level and promote the sport to a wider audience. Due to the costs associated with parachuting operations, fund raising is an objective of the club and will allow members to develop business management skills. All club operations will be conducted in a responsible and professional manner. All club parachuting and skydiving will be conducted at parachute centres affiliated with the Australian Parachute Federation in accordance with APF operating rules and operations manual. MUSC does not support Base Jumping or parachuting activities outside the jurisdiction of the Australian Parachute Federation.

Memberships.
The annual membership fee will be $15. All persons involved in club activities must be paid up members. Members must be eligible for Monash University Sports and Recreation. This includes, Monash Student/staff member,
Monash University graduate, spouse of student/staff member/authorised user, Monash Unicomm Staff member, graduate of another university, special authorised user. (Membership of the SRA may be required and additional detail and rates are available from the Sports and Recreation Association)

Trip Safety.
Prior to departure on a skydiving trip a list of names and emergency contacts and trip itinerary must be prepared and a copy lodged with SRA administration. SRA personal accident insurance will provide cover during the trip except when engaging in parachuting and skydiving. Additional covers is available from the parachute centre. Considerable third party insurance cover is included as a part of Australian Parachute Association Membership. (three month APF membership is included in the first jump course cost). All care will be taken by the club to ensure club operations are conducted safely however members agree to participate in skydiving activities at their own risk and agree not to hold the club liable for incidents arising from club organised activities.
