As mentioned earlier, this club is has just been established sometime in May 1997. There is also a Monash Borneo Student Society (MBBS) in Caulfield campus of Monash University. The Clayton campus Borneo Club was initiated by Allan Yeo and Sharon Wan who are the current President and Vice President respectively. An election was held on the 8th of May 1997 to elect the rest of the committee members.
